Chicken Mushroom Quiche…

For Dough:
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour (spooned and leveled), plus more for rolling
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon sugar
1 cup (2 sticks) cold unsalted butter, cut into pieces

Directions:
In a food processor, combine flour, salt, and sugar; pulse to combine. Add butter; pulse until mixture resembles coarse meal, with a few pea-size pieces of butter remaining.
Sprinkle with 1/4 cup ice water. Pulse until dough is crumbly but holds together when squeezed (if necessary, add up to cup more ice water, 1 tablespoon at a time). Do not overmix.
Transfer half of dough (still crumbly) onto a piece of plastic wrap. Form dough into a disk 3/4 inch thick; wrap tightly in plastic. Refrigerate until firm, at least 1 hour (and up to 3 days).
Place one disk of dough on a lightly floured piece of waxed paper. Rolling from center outward, form into a 14-inch round. Using paper, lift and wrap dough around a floured rolling pin; carefully unroll (discarding paper) over a 9-inch pie plate.
Gently fit dough into bottom and sides of plate. Avoid stretching or tearing dough. Using kitchen shears
Now bake the dough for 5 to 10 minutes (Put a wax paper in the center of the dough and place beans on top of it) This is done because we dont want the dough to rise from the center.

For Filling:
Chicken and Mushroom Mix
2 chicken breast Shredded
1 onion diced
Handful mushroom chopped or sliced
Sweet corn (optional)
Green onion to garnish

Direction:
Saute onion in butter till they turn transparent now add mushrooms and chicken and fry well. Sprinkle little salt. Make sure its dry and there is no water in this mixture

For Egg Custard:
3 eggs
1 cup heavy cream or whipping cream
Salt
Black pepper
White pepper
Crushed red chilli for desi flavour

Direction:
Beat eggs and cream well and add all the other spices.

Final Step- Assembly:
Put the chicken filling in the pie crust, you may put some chedder chesse for additional cheesy flavour (opitional)
Now pour in all the custard mixture in the pie crust
Bake at 400 degree farhenheit for 30 minutes or until the top is golden brown
